UI/UX Designer – SaaS for Automotive Recycling

We’re developing a modern SaaS platform that aims to revolutionize car junkyard and salvage yard management. This cloud-based tool will help streamline inventory tracking, pricing, customer interactions, and operations for automotive recyclers and salvage professionals.To bring this vision to life, we’re looking for a part-time remote UI/UX Designer who can help shape a clean, user-friendly, and efficient interface tailored to a practical, data-driven industry.
Your Role:As our UI/UX Designer, you’ll play a critical role in designing the overall look, feel, and flow of our platform. You’ll collaborate with developers, product managers, and users to create a seamless experience for business owners and staff managing high-volume automotive operations.
Key Responsibilities:Design clean, responsive, and intuitive interfaces for web-based applications.Develop user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.Conduct user research and gather feedback from internal and external stakeholders.Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented effectively and consistently.Create and maintain a UI design system and component library.Balance practical usability with clean aesthetics tailored to business users.
Required Skills & Experience:3+ years of experience in UI/UX design for web applications (ideally SaaS).Proficiency in tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.Strong understanding of responsive design, typography, and component-based design systems.Experience working with product and development teams in an agile/remote setup.Ability to design for complex use cases such as data tables, dashboards, and workflows.Excellent communication skills and self-motivation in a remote environment.
Nice to Have:Experience designing tools for logistics, operations, or inventory management.Familiarity with the automotive or recycling industry.Understanding of basic front-end development (HTML/CSS) to better communicate with devs.Experience contributing to accessibility and usability best practices.
