We Do Exhibitions is looking for a freelance Exhibit Designer to help bring to life an immersive experience within an existing space. The concept is a technological showcase resembling a museum exhibit journey across several spaces.
What You’ll DoDesign immersive exhibit zones integrating screens, technical booths and physical components.Turn complex tech processes into intuitive, engaging visitor experiences.Collaborate with AV teams and architects.Develop floor plans, elevations, renders, and spec sheets.Ensure design and proposed finishes comply with fit-out and fire-safety guidelines.Design for an existing prefabricated modular system — without drilling, ceiling loads, or permanent fixtures.
What You Bring5+ years’ experience in exhibit or spatial design (ideally in museums, expos, events) Fluency in tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Vectorworks, or similar.Experience integrating screen-based and interactive installations in exhibition spaces.Experience working with hybrid constructions combining prefabricated modular systems with custom built installations.A strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, clarity, and technical understanding.English fluency.
