Senior Art Director

Job Description

The Senior Art Director is a key role within MRM, responsible for developing advertising materials that align with the agreed strategy and meet the highest creative standards. This position requires a strong passion for big ideas and beautiful craft, as well as the ability to produce bold, strategic, and persuasive concepts across all media for global clients. The Sr. Art Director must be bilingual in Spanish and English and bring a global mindset to every project, with proven experience in building integrated campaigns that resonate across diverse markets. Collaboration is essential, as the role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to generate and visualize the best creative solutions. The ideal candidate is ready to contribute across disciplines and geographies, ensuring every piece of work is both creatively inspiring and strategically effective.

Responsabilities

Develops concepts and collaborates with the production team as needed. Builds relationships with appropriate agency creative leads. Works productively and harmoniously as a teammate with Copywriters and production/producers who share the responsibility on the given assignment. Collaborates with Copywriter and Information Architects in concepting and ideation. Updates recommendations based on any client comments and shares approved recommendations with all departments. Meets with project management to review work in progress and selects desired concepts.

Requirements

6+ years of experience within audiovisual, digital and print marketing or a comparable industry. Art education in advertising design and conceptual thinking is a must. Portfolio is required to demonstrate creative and technical skills. Demonstrated judgment and imagination for the creation and arrangement of the visual elements of an advertisement. Experience with online content (websites, email, interactive tools, search). Comfortable presenting to clients in English. Must be skilled in art techniques as well as computer proficient. Previous experience as an Art Director in an ad agency environment is a must. Experience in emerging platforms (mobile, tablets, etc) is a plus. Skilled in art techniques using AI tools and Adobe Suite apps. Motivated, proactive and action-oriented.
